A People Recognition Method Based on Face and Body Information

For the recognition of specific people in video, due to the problems such as lighting condition, facial expression, occlusion and sideways, it is difficult to recognize all the images containing the specific person only based on face recognition. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a people recognition method which combines face recognition and body recognition. By analyzing both the facial features and body features, people in kinds of video can be recognized without interference. Based on the movie, variety show and other video data, the experimental results show that the proposed method can more accurately identify target people, and provide technical support for many application fields such as video automatic editing and video monitoring.
