Metal-containing electrode material, at least for the secondary elements and process for its preparation

The invention relates to a metal-containing electrode material used at least in secondary cells and a method for producing the same. The metal-containing electrode material contains at least one metal oxide as a catalysing agent for the hydration or dehydration of said material. According to the inventive method for producing a metal-containing electrode material of this type, i.e. for producing the actual accumulation material, a metal-containing material and/or the catalysing agent are subjected to a mechanical grinding process.
