The Novel Aspects on the Mosaic of Autoimmunity

Abstract Almost 30 years ago, the concept of “Mosaic of Autoimmunity” was introduced to the scientific community, and since then it has continuously evolved adding new tiles to the puzzle. We are looking now at an era in which the players of autoimmunity have changed names and roles. In this book, these novel players from genetic, epigenetic to cellular mechanisms and environmental factors have been discussed at the light of the scientific progresses of these years.
