Active matrix substrate, liquid crystal display panel provided with same, and method for manufacturing active matrix substrate

Disclosed is an active matrix substrate (20a) which is provided with: a plurality of pixels disposed in matrix; a plurality of capacity lines (11b) provided parallel to each other in one arrangement direction of the pixels; a plurality of TFTs (5) provided for the pixels, respectively; a protection film (16a) provided to cover the TFTs (5); a plurality of pixel electrodes (18a), which are provided in matrix on the protection film (16a), and are connected to the TFTs (5), respectively; and a plurality of auxiliary capacitors (6) provided for the pixels, respectively. Each auxiliary capacitor (6) is configured with each capacity line (11b), each pixel electrode (18a), and the protection film (16a) disposed between each capacity line (11b) and each pixel electrode (18a), thereby suppressing deterioration of the aperture ratio of the pixels and increasing the electric capacitance of the auxiliary capacitors.
