The purpose of this document is to analyze and exhibit the manner in which the Colombian Arbitration Tribunals decide the contractual disputes within the framework of Procurement Processes, which are evaluated and resolved by the Arbitration Justice. Accordingly with the above, in the following pages three (3) Arbitral Awards from the Center of Conciliation and Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota will be studied. The main aspects extracted from the said decisions are (i) the methodology developed by the Arbitration Tribunals to effectuate the analysis of the legal problems brought to their attention, (ii) the arguments used to structure the decisions, (iii) and the judicial precedents that serve as grounds for the Award.
