Diagnóstico de problemas en la Red CAN de una bomba VP 44 y la Unidad de Control de un motor 4JH1

2021
The present investigation will be carried out in a 2013 Chevrolet Luv Dmax vehicle where the communication between the injection pump computer (PSG) and the engine computer (ECM) is evaluated, determining the CAN communication network that exists between them. This research is based on an experimental methodology, for which a previous study of several documents related to the communication interface of the CAN networks has been carried out, to carry out the acquisition of data from the networks in a practical way, an automotive oscilloscope is used, an automotive tester or multimeter, a break out box, a laptop to read the oscillograms and finally the manufacturers data and wiring diagrams of the vehicle.  The main focus of the investigation is to find the origin of the fault codes P1650 and P1651, the same ones that happen to appear as historical, especially in this type of vehicle, for which the generation of faults in CAN communication is carried out experimentally. between the PSG and ECM modules, it es finally reported that these codes are generated by shorting the CAN-H to ground, the CAH-H to CAN-L and the CAN lost signal or break of the CAN-H channel.
