Control algorithms of inelastic resistance forces of hydropneumatic springs

A control algorithms for inelastic resistance forces of hydropneumatic springs have been developed at the Volgograd State Technical University. On their basis, new design schemes of hydropneumatic springs are created. These springs provide: 1) decrease of inelastic resistance for small vibration in the area of static suspension deformation and changing direction of suspension deformation at high vibration; 2) automatic increase of inelastic resistance in the beginning of high vibration in the compression stroke with its subsequent preservation in the whole suspension stroke during several vibration periods. The authors also conducted a theoretical study of these control algorithms, which confirmed the positive impact of these algorithms on vibration isolation properties of the vehicle.
