The flower festival in Suzhou has a long historical tradition.Suzhou Flower Festival had a stable time,place,and custom in the Tang and Song Dynasties.And then it matured in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.These details were influenced by Suzhou traditional culture.And the Suzhou’s flower culture attributed an idea of model reference in natural and humanistic background to the flower festival.Thus,the suggestions of Suzhou Flower Festival cultural system’s reconstruction can start from the following five aspects: Rebuilding the flower temple to protect the material cultural heritage;Restoring the flower festival to protect the intangible cultural heritage;Recovering the traditional festival activities to add new ideas to the tourism;Building the flower base to plant flowers and produce kinds of flower tea;Encouraging researches about flower culture to promote the ecological and cultural traditions.
