SAW Convolver Using Curved Waveguide

A SAW convolver with curved waveguide has been developed. This structure makes it possible to realize longer integration time in comparison with the conventional straight waveguide, in which the time extension is limited by the substrate size. A convolver with 29 µs integration time has been fabricated on a commercially available Y-cut LiNbO3 3'' wafer.
