The purpose of this study was to analyze the socioeconomic profile of patients followed in the Specialization Clinic in Faculty of Dentistry, Fluminense Federal University - FOUFF. For such an achievement 102 patients of the Clinical Specialization FOUFF above 18 years answered a questionnaire to examine age, gender, education, household income, household situation of property, whether they have health insurance and dental, and finally why the search for FOUFF. The results showed that patients, mostly women, have a grade-level instruction school, and they have a family income between 2-4 salaries, homeowners have paid off, health insurance, and sought for the cost FOUFF and quality of service offered. We conclude that although patients can afford treatment at a dental clinic, they seek FOUFF the quality of care provided to patients and low cost.
