The dual human nature is the cause of multiple conflicts in a society. According to this, there is a need to develop methods and techniques of resolving them. Among these methods are mediation technologies that are increasingly used in modern society. Emergence of a state and development of civilization have identified the formation of politics as a specific form of social activity. The very essence of politics involves problems and contradictions that it is supposed to solve. This paper is devoted to the possibilities and the specifics of applying mediation technologies in the sphere of politics and resolving political conflicts through them.
