Tests of a 300-MW two-boiler single-turbine power unit with a TGMP-114 boiler when starting with a sliding pressure throughout the water-steam circuit

Results of tests for starting the TGMP-114 boiler of a 300-MW power unit under sliding pressure conditions throughout the circuit are presented. The reliability of the heating surfaces was assessed, and a control algorithm for such starting conditions was improved. The feasibility of starting a 300-MW power unit without using any steam from external sources is shown.
