PROGRAMME FOR RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF PLANE FRAME STRUCTURAL SYSTEM

Based on the analysis of the failure theory of a plane frame structural system, a method of automatic establishment of failure criteria, the selection of major failure modes and estimation of failure probability of a structural system are presented. Two types of loading effect are considered. One is the effect of bending moment and the other is the combined load effect of bending moment and the other is the combined load effect of bending moment and axial force. A general computer programme is also given. The calculated examples verify the applicability of the method and axial loads the reliability of the programme.
