Facile Fabrication and Formation Mechanism of Self-Assembled Spherical 3, 3'-Diamino-4, 4'-Azoxyfurazan (DAAF) Hierarchical Structure

In this paper self-assembled spherical shell and porous sphere structures of 3, 3'-diamino-4, 4'-azoxyfurazan (DAAF) were fabricated by simple surfactant induced and solvent induced method respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed to characterize the morphology. Results of X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD) and Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) tests indicated that the crystal and molecular structure of both products kept unchanged compared with the raw DAAF. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) were employed to characterize the thermal behavior of the as-prepared crystals and the related thermodynamic parameters were calculated. Finally, the self-assembly mechanism was discussed.
