Tuberculosis is a worldwide zoonosis involving a wide range of hosts among domestic and wild animals. We describe tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium bovis in a wild porcupine (Hystrix cristata) found dead in the district of Macerata, Marche Region, Italy in 2019.
