Electromagnetic wave absorption by H2O‐filled SiO2 shell microcapsule‐dispersed paraffin matrix composites

Electromagnetic wave absorption of H2O-filled SiO2 shell microcapsule-dispersed paraffin matrix composites has been examined in a frequency range from 18 to 30 GHz. The composites showed electromagnetic wave absorption potential, and the electromagnetic wave absorption can be controlled by a volume fraction of liquid state H2O in the composite. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
