Evaluación del uso del portafolio reflexivo en la enseñanza de anatomía humana en la Universidad San Francisco de Quito

This Project began after the need for facilitating the teaching-learning process in the Basic Medical Sciences at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ). It is based in the use of the Reflective Portfolio, a student individually developed document which summarizes his/her experiences about Human Anatomy, in order to allow the acquisition of competences, by means of evaluations and feedback. The study evaluated the use of the Reflective Portfolio in the Human Musculoskeletal System course during the academic year 2007-2008 using a survey to analyze the functionality, adherence and impact of the method among the students; also, there was made a correlation between the number of accesses to the course website and the final grades; finally, there was made a participative workshop in order to improve the application of the Reflective Portfolio
