Challenges and Solutions for Resilient Telemedicine Services

Moving towards healthcare modernization more attention and resources are paid to telemedicine development, and nowadays healthcare is on the verge of significant changes. The problems caused by COVID-19 make healthcare reconsider the approaches used for communication between doctors and patients and control the quality of treatment in general. Telemedicine services are emphasized especially due the Covid-19 pandemical situation. The offer for such services is growing in numbers and varieties. Cyber security and resilience are important issues to be taken into account for general practitioners in order to apply provided services in their daily activities. The purpose of the scientific work is to analyze current healthcare situation in the world and review main telemedicine integration problems, that prevents healthcare from providing all necessary medical help remotely. ARTSS method is applied in order to identify main challenges and solutions for resilient telemedicine services. Proposed approach is evaluated among general practitioners and reflects main and crucial requirements for secure telemedicine services. Paper describes main findings, conclusions, and future work regarding implementation secure telemedicine services.
