Research on acute toxicity of quick-effective anti-motion capsule

Objective To observe and determine the medial lethal dose(LD50)of quick-effective antimotion capsule for mice to evaluate it's safety.Methods The toxicity response of ICR mice were observed and recorded after the mice were lavaged with the capsule once.LD50 and 95% reliability limit were calculated by aggregate analysis according to death rate.ResultsThe mice showed exciting nerval syndrome with a positive correlation to the medicine concentration.The earliest syndrome emerged about 10 min after treatment.The mice in the high dosage groups died quickly and the death time focused within 1-2 h.LD50 of quick-effective anti-motion capsule for mice was 1043.3 mg/kg,95% reliability limi of LD50 was 972.8-1113.8 mg/kg.Conclusions LD50 of quick-effective anti-motion capsule for mice is 1043.3 mg/kg,which is 298-596 times of recommended clinic dosage.
