White light source

2011
FIELD: physics. SUBSTANCE: source, which forms white light through additive mixing of red, green and blue light, consisting of a blue light source and a fluorescent layer made from crystalline gadolinium molybdate Gd 2 (MoO 4 ) 3 , doped with thulium, terbium and europium. The blue light source directly illuminates the fluorescent layer in which there is emission of red, green and blue light and additive mixture thereof, resulting in white light emission. EFFECT: simple design of a white light source. 6 dwg
