The invention discloses an intelligent meter weighing system based on quartz weighing sensor and eight-bit AVR microprocessor of ATmega 16 high performance and low power consumption, comprising an ADsampling unit, a data processing unit, a display unit, a keyboard control unit and a data transmission unit, wherein the AD sampling unit realizes weight signal sampling for the output of a weight sensor; then, data is processed by the algorithm of the data processing unit; the keyboard control unit can control contents displayed by the display unit and can calibrate weight signals; and after theweighing operation is finished, relative data is transmitted to a host computer according to a designated format by the data transmission unit. The equipment has small damage to freeway surface and convenient installation, transmits vehicle information in real time to the host computer, and can quickly and accurately weigh vehicles.
