Jebel Waqf as Suwwan, Jordan

The Jebel Waqf as Suwwan circular structure of 5.5 km diameter was discovered in late 2000s by re-evaluation of a 1960s report on the regional geology of the northeastern border region of Jordan and following a Landsat satellite image investigation.
