Summary Note of Serial Poisonings

Here is provided a chronological list arranged usually of date of sentencing (set in bold) of summaries of cases of serial poisoning. Entries extend from the 1850s to the year 2017. Entries typically include information concerning the poisoner, their year of birth, their country/nationality, occupation/role, sentence and date, and whether they are a healthcare serial poisoner. There is reference to the poison used, and how it was administered. Also given is the name of the victim, their relationship to the poisoner, the year of their death, and the location of the murder. Motive is noted where this can be judged. References for further reading are given and any notable other information is added.
