IIoT-enabled Equipment Condition Monitoring and Alert (IECOM) Training in SIMTech Model Factory

This paper presents an IIoT-enabled equipment condition monitoring and alert (IECOM) training program for remote monitoring of machine conditions. It includes the contents of fundamentals of equipment condition monitoring, case studies for the applications, IIoT sensors and devices selection, data acquisition and IECOM software. The training includes both classroom and practice in Model Factory@SIMTech to demonstrate and implement of condition monitoring project.
