Establishment of admixtures of heavy and rare-earth elements in cadmium tungstate on luminescence spectra

The spectra of photo- and x rays-luminescence of cadmium tungstate monocrystals with the impurities of heavy (Pb 2+ , Bi 3+ ) and rare-earth ions (Pr 3+ , Sm 3+ ) were investigated. The main spectral and kinetic characteristics of the photoluminescence are given, which can be the evidence of the presence of impurities in the cadmium tungstate crystals.
