Granular Cell Tumour of the Lower Gingiva: a Case Report, Immunohistochemical Evaluation, and Review of the Literature

Abstract Granular cell tumour is characterised by cytoplasmic, eosinophilic granules, and its origin is still controversial. It arises in soft tissue, mainly on the tongue in the oral region. This article reports a case of a 54-year-old woman diagnosed with granular cell tumour arising in the lower gingiva, and includes details of pathological and immunohistochemical findings.
