Various noises were generated in apartment buildings such as floor impact sound etc., and complaints were consistently presented. Especially, complaints on floor impact sound is one of the major source in Korean high-rise apartment buildings. In some cases, complaints related with floor impact sound developed into violence between neighbors. In order to solve this problem, development of sound isolation technologies on floor impact sound, ongoing education and awareness is needed. In this study, floor impact sound management of apartment buildings were surveyed. It was investigated that acoustic performance labelling on floor impact sound show a reasonable understanding of how to help residents about the noise.
