Synthesis of porous reticular copolymers of divinyl ethers of hydroquinone and diethylene glycol and their testing as sorbents in liquid chromatography

Abstract Porous reticular copolymers of divinyl ethers of hydroquinone and diethyleneglycol with acrylonitrile, styrene and methyl methacrylate have been obtained. The characteristics of the porous structure of these copolymers are determined. It has been established that they permit highly effective fractionation of oligomers and polymers and may be recommended as sorbents in analytical and preparative liquid chromatography for separating oligomers and polymers with molecular weights up to 100,000.
