Злокачественные новообразования и их социально-экономические последствия (Якутск, 1990-2003 гг.)

2007
The poor socioeconomic situation in Sakha-Yakutia Republic and Yakutsk with sharp reduction in financial support of medical centers led to rise in cancer mortality rate from 108,5 0/0000in 1990 to 127,4 0/0000 in 2003. The maximal standard rates of damaged vital potential in the population of Yakutsk were observed for the lung (2,7), stomach (1,4), breast (0,89), and uterine cervix (0,79) cancers. The assessment of socioeconomic loss due to deaths from malignances showed a poor quality of cancer care.
