Analysis of storage state and condensation risk of paddy pile based on temperature and humidity field cloud map

2021
In order to explore the condensation mechanism of paddy pile, a simulation test was carried out in this study. The research object of this article is stored paddy about 0.2m below the surface of paddy pile, close to the warehouse wall at which it’s easy to occur condensation effected by environmental factor. In this paper, the temperature and relative humidity of different district in paddy pile in different seasons were monitored by integrated temperature and humidity sensors. The datum of stored paddy conditions was detected. Then the cloud map of the temperature field and humidity field of the paddy pile were drawn using MATLAB simulation software to analyze the distribution of temperature and humidity fields of paddy. It showed that there was a ‘hot core’ in the middle of the pile in late spring and early summer. The temperature gradient differences caused micro-airflow formation which had resulted in the internal heat and moisture migration and redistribution. Finally, a high relative humidity zone appeared. Based on the WU (CAE) model, the different states (equilibrium state, saturation state, adsorption state or desorption state) of the risk points in the paddy pile were calculated. If the ambient relative humidity decreases, the desorption state of paddy pile will be in the dominant position. If the ambient relative humidity remains high, the paddy pile will constantly keep absorption, and even reach the saturated state, which become serious hazard to storing paddy. The discovery of these change laws could be helpful to reduce the grain storage loss and to ensure the safety of grain storage.
