Clinical Observation of Orsalin Ointment in the Treatment of Psoriasis Vulgaris

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of orsalin ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.Methods A randomized,parallel comparative clinical observation was performed in 72 patients with psoriasis vulgaris.They were divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group of 36 cases was treated with orsalin ointment and the control group of 36 cases with tazarotene cream.The response was evaluated at 6 weeks.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 88.89% and 66.67% in the control group.The adverse effect rate of the experimental group was 5.56% and 22.22% in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups' treatment effect rate(P0.05),as well as those adverse effect rate(P0.05).Conclusion It is effective and safety for orsalin ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.
