In addition to the importance of their production, the cross-bordermarketing flows between Mali and certain countries of the sub-region, give the Malian industrial sector, a subregionalcharacter. The main objective of our was to analyze the industrial dynamics of the country, from thecolonial period to the present day. The methodological approach was based on surveys carried out between 2016and 2018 among industrialists and also on previous bibliographic work. Data records and operating accountswere also used. The results of this analysis showed that the industrialization policy of postcolonial Mali wascarried out in two main phases, namely: a socialist type phase of industrialization and another based oneconomic liberalism. The industrial policies of the colonial era and those of socialist Mali had restricted privateinitiatives in favor of the state sector. The strategies developed after these two regimes have, since 1969,favoured the private sector, which continues to flourish to this day.Key words: analysis, dynamic, companies, industrialization, Mali
