Preparation of Cr-Mn-Ti gear steel

The present invention provides a method of producing a Cr-Mn-Ti steel gear, which is characterized by using an electric furnace or a converter refining beginning of refining -LF - vacuum furnace for molten steel refining process - Full Protection casting - rolling timber production process ; First First steelmaking furnace melted liquid steel in the range of 1620 ℃ ~ 1670 ℃ and adding synthetic slag; for molten steel in the ladle refining furnace temperature was controlled at 1520 ℃ ~ 1630 ℃, the smelting time 30 ~ 50min to tapping; then vacuum treatment of the molten steel refining in a vacuum furnace, an argon gas was blown into the bottom of the ladle; finally continuous casting in a fully protected state. CrMnTi ensure the strength of the present invention from the steel and the fatigue limit gear viewpoint, the Ti content in the steel CrMnTi gear is controlled from 0.01% to 0.038%, so that both steel grain to control gear CrMnTi not grow at a carburizing temperature , reduce inclusions, the purpose of improving the steel, and help to improve the fatigue life of gears.
