Idrocarburi policiclici aromatici : determinazione quantitativa in matrici lipidiche

We propose an innovative method for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) determination in lipidic matrices. The method utilizes a SVB (stirene divinyl benzene) SPE cartridge coupled to an anion-exchange SPE for a one step concentration and purification of PAHs. The proposed procedure is no time consuming and utilizes a few ml of PAHs recovery solvent. The analysis of PAHs is done by coupled HPLC multi wavelenghts UV detection and programmed fluorimetry. Recoveries are in agreement with the recommendations of the CEN standards for pesticides and PCBs (70-110%) for all U.S. EPA standards, except for naphtalene, acenaphtene, fluorene owing to their volatility during evaporation step.
