The Diversity of Information Systems of Social Insurance

Information system is an important infrastructure of social insurance system.In China,it encounters the problems including the inconsistency of its construction standard and the diversity of existing systems.The paper analyzes 8 factors that affect the diversity of information system of social insurance,including policy,type of insurance,phase of insurance management,bureaucracy in charge,pooling level,design standard,database type and storage place.The paper also points out the complexity of the diversity of information systems in case that these factors interact with each other.Then,the paper discusses the origin of the diversity and states its influence on the informatization,the delicacy management and the internal and external supervision of social insurance.Finally,three advices for informatization of social insurance are given.
