運用SCP(Structure－Conduct－Performance)模型分析台灣觸控面板產業

The market of consumer products equipped with a touch panel continues growing rapidly; attracting many Touch Panel manufacturers competitively enter related fields. Under Apple hot products, the manufacturers of Taiwan Mainland China, Japan and Korea was cannibalization touch panel business opportunity. This study aims to examine the effect on Taiwanese touch panel structure and their conduct to their performance by the Structure-Conduct-Performance model. Discussion transforms the industrial characteristic into the factors that life cycle of industry shows. And this research discusses the mutual relations between factors and Touch Panel firms’ operating performance by SCP model. Using touch panel Secondary Qualitative Study to conduct the regression analysis. The independent variables in market structure are market share and asset intensity. The independent variables in firms’ behavior include R&D intensity, investment, growth rate of sales, vertical integration and debt rate. The earning per share denotes the financial performance. The results represent the relationship between “Sales Growth Rate”, “Investment to equipment” and the “business performance”, ”market structure” and “conduct” after this research. It can provide touch panel industry for Taiwan about business strategy in the future.
