Lesio sebagai Komponen Tanggap Buah 20 Galur dan atau Varietas Cabai terhadap Inokulasi Colletotrichum capsici dan Colletotrichum gloeosporioides

Tujuan dari percobaan ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi tanggap dari buah cabai pada sta dia hijau dan merah, dan untuk menentukan taraf resistensi dari 20 galur dan atau varietas cabai terhadap inokulasi Colletotrichum capsici dan Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah acak lengkap dengan tiga ulangan dan penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumahkasa dan Laboratorium Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran, dari bulan Maret sampai Desember 1999. Tanggap buah cabai terhadap C. capsici dan C. gloeosporioides dievaluasi berdasarkan lebar dan panjang lesio, di am e ter lesio, dan nisbah panjang/lebar lesio. Penentuan taraf resistensi berdasarkan taraf beda nyata Duncan P<0,05, dari di am e ter lesio pada hari keempat setelah inokulasi, dan pengelompokan dengan menggunakan pro gram systat. Buah pada sta dia hijau galur No. 327 dan serrano menunjukkan taraf resistensi yang lebih tinggi terhadap C. capsici; sedangkan buah pada sta dia merah jalapeno, serta buah hijau dan merah MC11 resisten terhadap C. capsici dan C. gloeosporioides.
