Son Üç Yıldaki Balon Atrial Septostomi Uygulamaları ve Sonuçlarımız

In this study our results with balloon atrial septostomy in 30 babies with transposition of great arteries and tricuspid atresia were analyzed The procedure were performed through the femoral vein route in 25 patients and the umblical vein route in 5 patients The ages of the infants at the time of procedure ranged from 24 hours to 88 days The mean weight was 3674 0±653 7 grams Significant increases in oxygen saturation levels were provided Three babies died within 24 hours after the procedure 10 percent The other patients were sent for surgical intervention Key words: Balloon Septostomy Transposition Of Great Arteries Tricuspid Atresia
