The Mono-Iodination of 3-Chloro-6-(2-Methoxybenzyl)-Pyridazine

Abstract A method of selective mono-iodination, using iodine and ammonium persulphate, is described. In the iodination of the, electron rich, title compound this method was found to be superior to all others attempted.
