Micropropagation of late-maturing Prunus persica

Experiment of bud induction of fresh meal peach was conducted by using the orthogonal experiment design. The micropropagation of late-maturing Prunus persica was studied. The results showed that the suitable medium for the bud induction from shoot tips was MS+1. 0 mg/L 6-BA+ 0. 5 mg/L GA3 +2. 0 mg/L IBA,the rate of the bud induction could reach 93. 8 %. 1/2 MS with soaking the root in 100 mg/L IBA and 16 ℃ dark treatment for 8 days was the best for inducing root,the rooting rate was 85 %. There was no significant relation between soaking time and rooting rate. Through reducing humidity gradually and three-step acclimatization procedure,the survival rate could be over 80 %.
