ASSESSMENT OF THE PREDICTIVE VALIDITY OF THE INJURY IMPAIRMENT SCALE IN MULTIPLE INJURED PATIENTS WITH A HEAD INJURY

1996
Self-reported Functional Independence Measure (FIM) values, one year or more after injury, in multiple injured major trauma patients with a head injury, have been correlated with patients' Injury Impairment Scale (IIS) scores. There was no demonstrated clinical useful correlation between on the one side the IIS and on the other side mobility and cognitive function, expressed in the FIM. Language: en
