The utility model discloses a device for monitoring the inclination of a piston of a gas tank on line. The device comprises a piston body, wherein an annular water pipe is arranged around the edge of the piston body; four points are arranged at the top ends of the perpendicular diameters of the annular water pipe at intervals of 90 degrees and are respectively communicated with one end of each of four horizontal branch pipes, and the other end of each of the four horizontal branch pipes is communicated with a vertical pipe; the annular water pipe, the horizontal branch pipes and the vertical pipes are communicated with one another; four liquid level detection and measurement barrels are arranged at the upper ends of the vertical pipes, respectively; liquid level sensors are arranged in the four liquid level detection and measurement barrels, respectively. According to the technical scheme, the measurement precision can be effectively improved; furthermore, the device is easy to mount and operate, and a detector does not need to measure the inclination of the piston after entering a tank body.
