Simulation Research on Aerodynamic Parameters of Miniature Ammunition

This paper focuses on the influence of the layout design of the miniature ammunition on the aerodynamic parameters. Firstly, based on the parameter requirements of the miniature ammunition, the structure of the normal layout is proposed. And the influence of the wing size on the static stability of the ammunition is studied by establishing the three-dimensional aerodynamic model of the ammunition and the aero-hydrodynamic simulation. Secondly, the lift, drag and pitch moment parameters of the miniature ammunition are obtained by carrying out simulated aerodynamic calculations according to different flight conditions, and the lift-drag ratio and the available overload are calculated. The static stability of the projectile can be effectively designed in a reasonable range by adjusting the wing area. The results show that the aerodynamic layout of the proposed miniature ammunition has good aerodynamic characteristics and is suitable for laser beam riding and other conductor systems.
