Analysis and comparison of environmental and economic benefits between solar water heaters and electric water heaters

Environment effects of domestic solar water heater can be evaluated by Life Cycle Assessment.Three stages such as raw materials extraction,production and materials transportation were analyzed,and the energy consumption and environmental impact in each stage were calculated,and the comparison with electric water heater as well.The result showed that solar water heater had remarkable effect on energy saving and environmental protection.
