1P-563 : A Potent Ceramide Based on the Glucose Core Back Bone

A potent new Ceramide derivative with a sugar core back bone has been developed. (LGLS 336 group) Especially, it has anti-inflammatory effect from in vitro biological screening as well as skin moisturizing and barrier protection efficacy of the classical ceramides. From the more detail point of activity evaluation, the expressions of three moisturing genes (HAS1, HAS3, AQP3) by 11.3-35.6% at 50-100 ppm concentration and the skin barrier genes (FLG, CASP14, IVL) by 29.7-30.7% at the concentration of 500-1000ppm increased respectively. In particular, the four expresstion genes (NF-kB, IL-1a, COX2, and IL-6) were reduced by 4-15% at 500-1000 ppm. In addition, the optimization of one-step reaction for the commercial production and spectroscopic analysis are confirmed as a new anti-skin protector.
