Management of an avulsed deciduous incisor: Report of a case

1978
Abstract The avulsed primary tooth poses problems in its treatment and management. This case report on the long-term management of an avulsed deciduous incisor produced some diagnostic findings. Reattachment of the periodontal fibers occurred after 2 weeks of splinting. The normal eruption pattern was not delayed and secondary spacing occurred. Turner's hypoplasia occurred on the succedaneous tooth, but it was minimal. Replantation of avulsed deciduous teeth should be considered as a treatment modality under ideal conditions.
