The magnetic Compton scattering for the strongly correlated electron system of orthorhombic perovskite ruthenates CaRu1−xTxO3 (T=Ti, Mn, Fe, Ni)
2007
Abstract The magnetic Compton scattering for CaRu 1− x T x O 3 system (T=Ti, Mn, Fe, Ni) was carried out under 2.5 T at 10 K to get the magnetic information of Ru and substituted ion T separately. We confirmed that magnetic moment was induced on Ru for small substitution of T ions and that the moment couples antiferromagnetically with that of transition metal ions. The results also suggest that CaRuO 3 is a substance in the vicinity of the magnetic quantum critical point.
