The method comprises the steps of making the concrete test evaluation items, wherein the evaluation items comprise the external macroscopic situation, the wellhead thread corrosion damage, the material, the internal corrosion, the external corrosion thinning, the crack, the well cementation, a pressure-tight test and an air-tight test; according to the test situations of the items, evaluating separately, and taking the lowest item grade as the gas storage well safety status evaluation grade. The underground gas storage well safety status grade evaluation method solves the disadvantages that a conventional fixed pressure container safety status evaluation method lacks pertinency for the underground gas storage wells, is not strong in applicability and lacks operability.
