A Linux-Based Technical Implementation Model for Data Capturing

This paper presents a technical implementation model for data capturing scripts in PHP to be efficient in the environment of a browser, Apache and MySQL. Traditional PHP scripts are usually run within the environment of the Apache OS and MySQL database, through a browser. This will lead to a substantial time limit when Apache runs. When the data to be captured by the PHP script is large, Apache will not be efficient enough to grab all the data and update the data into the database. In this paper, we use the shell scripting language to call PHP language in the terminal under Linux environment, and then grab the weather conditions in various cities in China, hence achieving the data capturing objectives, and update these data into the database in real time.
