Modified carboxymethylated cellulose nanofiber dispersion and method for manufacturing same

2017
Provided is a cellulose nanofiber which yields a dispersion having excellent dispersion stability in an organic solvent or a resin, and which is transparent and has minimal coloration. A dispersion in which modified carboxymethylated cellulose nanofibers are dispersed, wherein the dispersion includes an organic solvent and the modified carboxymethylated cellulose nanofibers include glucose units represented by formula (1) (Formula (1)) (In formula (1), X 1 independently represents a group represented by H or –CH 2 COOH, X 2 independently represents a group represented by H, –CH 2 COOH, or a group represented by any of formulas (2) through (4), where at least one X 2 is a group represented by any of formulas (2) through (4).) (Formulas (2) through (4)) (In formula (2), R independently represents H, a C1-10 alkyl group, a C6-20 aryl group, or a C7-20 aralkyl group, where at least one R is the abovementioned alkyl group, aryl group, or aralkyl group. In formula (3), Y represents N or P, and R has the same definition as in formula (2). In formula (4), R' represents a C1-10 alkyl group, a C6-20 aryl group, or a C7-20 aralkyl group.)
